Gravesham Tennis Club make the French Connection
- Michel Suleau Becomes Head Coach -

Michel is a highly experienced and proficient coach who, as Head Coach at two clubs in Scunthorpe over the past eight years, has yielded notable successes in an area where tennis had previously attracted little attention. Under his direction, a number of young players from the area have reached County level, including Michel's own 15 year old son Michael who is currently Lincolnshire's number one and two player in the under 16 and under 18 age groups. Michael, whose LTA rating is 5.2, will become a club member at Gravesham in due course.

A French national, Michel possesses the high level Lawn Tennis Association CCA Club Coach Award qualification. He combines the French method of coaching with the best practices laid down by the LTA to excellent effect. He has close links with the superb Le Touquet centre in France, near Calais, and he is envisaging regular visits there for our members to play in tournaments, competitions and just for fun.

Questionnaire
Michel has issued a questionnaire which he would like members to complete in order to let him know what coaching and practice events they would like him to organise. The deadline for replying to this is Saturday 19 April. The names of all those members who reply to the questionnaire will be entered into a draw to be carried out at the club at 1pm on that day with prizes of tennis bags and free private lessons from Michel for both junior and senior members.
