Youngsters Dominate Latest American Tournament

March's tournament attracted 20 competitors with outstanding results for the youngest entrants. Top marks in the first group went to Lawrie Lowe with 24 points, followed closely by 15 year old Samuel Hadden, fresh from his victory at the club's recent LTA Matchplay competition, just two points behind.

The winner and runner-up of the second group were 11 year olds Callum Reader and Lauran Blaber with 23 and 19 points respectively. Considering that the rest of the group consisted entirely of adult players, some of whom are club team players, their achievement was monumental, offering yet further evidence of the youthful talent coming through the club's ranks.
